BLUSHING GLOW HAS A SISTER–

When I awoke this morning there was a knowing — A most familiar of scent wafted within this 1,200 sq bungalow of St Paul.
Though I could not pinpoint the smell, I knew it — Going about the day of routines and errands prior to the celebration of Easter, I wanted to water and do a quick glance at the martagon seedlings I have in the grow room in culture containers.
As I walked toward the sacred room, I started running as the scent that I had been smelling on the main floor of living became stronger and more pronounced. I could actually taste the scent —– the elusiveness , complexity and one that evoked emotions and memories, which for the most part are very hard to define. There was a complexity of earthtones hidden in the structure of the scent. The rarity of exclusivity that belongs only to this hybrid. Almost like a whispered secret that spills blended woody notes of moss, lichens and spores.. Fresh cedar and fresh martagon linger within the growing room. There are a hint of dusty spirals and perhaps dried aged cast of a rare elixir. The fragrance is of reminiscent vintage and with a historical theme. Perhaps varnished memories of its surrendered moment where the atmosphere absorbs the time capsule of mysterious scent of heavy floral notes that were ment for those that dare to suck in the intoxicating, luxurious warm spicy I wonder if there is a perfume that could be extracted…. I certainly am lost in the fragrance of sub lilium martagon — UNDER THE MARTAGON LILY
With a quick note this cross is the second seedling that grew to flower from the one single cross that was planned 6 years ago. This seedling was named Mary’s Gold and sibling is Glowing Rose that first bloomed in 2025.
